Capital Gains Tax Valuations

You may have received advice from your taxation agent to attain a formal current or retrospective market valuation of an investment property for Capital Gains Tax (CGT) purposes.

It is important to confirm with your taxation agent valuation dates and number of valuations required, if more than one. For retrospective valuations, we need descriptions from you to help us establish the state of the property as at that date.  In some cases the property may have already been sold, or even demolished.

We also carry out partial or curtilage CGT valuations where a 2ha exemption may apply.
