Frequently Asked Question: Are your valuers registered in Queensland and CPV?
Yes, each of our valuers is registered to practice in Queensland, but this does not require them to hold a CPV accreditation.
If you intend to undertake valuation work in Queensland, you must be registered with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland (VRBQ). While a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) accreditation through the Australian Property Institute (API) is one path to registration, it is not the only pathway.
The VRBQ formally recognises members of approved institutes. This includes our valuers’ qualification of RICS Chartered Valuation Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our valuers have chosen the RICS framework for its stronger, more established, and comprehensive standards.
